I've been heading to Angel Fire for years—whether it's for skiing in winter, hiking in summer, or just soaking in the mountain air—and since Elevated Pour opened last year, it has quickly become one of my favorite stops. I visit regularly, and it never disappoints.
The Atmosphere
The atmosphere strikes that ideal balance: cozy yet sophisticated. The modern décor—sleek grays, stainless accents, and warm lighting—pairs beautifully with the log building's natural wood floors and walls, creating a relaxed, upscale vibe that feels inviting rather than stuffy. On cooler evenings, I always gravitate toward the comfortable couch by the fireplace for intimate chats with friends. Other times, I'll grab a stool at the bar to watch the bartenders work and chat about the wine list. And when the weather cooperates, the heated patio overlooking Frontier Park is unbeatable, with sweeping views of the park, mountains, and the occasional deer wandering by.

The Drinks
What really keeps me coming back is the drink selection. They offer a fantastic lineup of wines by the glass—everything from crisp Zonin Prosecco and Wairau Sauvignon Blanc to bolder options like Banshee Pinot Noir, St. Francis Merlot, and Luigi Bosca Malbec, plus bubbles like N. Feuillate Champagne. If cocktails are more your speed (and they often are for me), their handcrafted list is excellent. I've enjoyed the refreshing High Road Margarita, the Elevated Old Fashioned, the creative Blue Bird with fat-washed Grey Goose and blue cheese olives, and the Fig Jam Bee's Knees. They also pour local beers if you want something simpler.

The Food
The food is all about shareable light bites and small plates that pair perfectly with whatever you're drinking. My must-order every single time? The meatballs and baguette—tender beef, lamb, and pork sausage meatballs simmered in a rustic tomato sauce and served with fresh bread for dipping. They're absolutely addictive and have been a hit with everyone I've brought along. The charcuterie boards are another standout: go for the Select Board or Gran Reserve with the chef's choice of three meats and three cheeses, plus stone-ground mustard, housemade chili fig jam, dried cherries, and crackers. Other favorites I've tried (and heard raved about from fellow diners) include the Garlic Confit Hummus, Prosciutto and Figs, Glazed Mini Bucos, and Beets and Carrots over whipped ricotta. Everything arrives polished, flavorful, and perfectly portioned for sharing without being too filling.

The Service
Top-notch. The staff—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely accommodating—makes you feel like a regular from your first visit. Whether you need a wine pairing recommendation, a quick adjustment to your order, or just some friendly conversation, they deliver every time.
The Verdict
If you're in Angel Fire and looking for that perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends over a bottle (or three), or set the mood for a romantic evening, Elevated Pour is it. It's the kind of place that elevates any trip to the mountains. Next time I'm in town, you'll find me there again—couch by the fire, meatballs on the table, glass in hand.
